Bulletin of the World Health Organization (WHO) on the Burden of MSK Conditions Globally

The paper published in the May edition of the Bulletin of the World Health Organization (WHO), entitled “Reducing the global burden of musculoskeletal conditions”, examines the global impact of more than 150 musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and fractures and found that many musculoskeletal conditions shared similar risk factors to other chronic health conditions, such as obesity, poor nutrition and an inactive lifestyle, often leading to significant functional limitations and health decline.  Click here for the full article.
