What the WBAT? A National Survey of Weight Bearing as Tolerated (WBAT) Practices After Hip Fracture Surgery Among Canadian Orthopaedic Surgeons

Weight-bearing as tolerated (WBAT) after hip fracture surgery is recommended by practice guidelines, but current post-operative practices are highly variable. This webinar will summarize the results of a recent survey of 133 Canadian orthopaedic surgeons exploring self-reported WBAT practice patterns, factors influencing weight-bearing orders, and attitudes regarding WBAT. Implications for practice and future research will be also be discussed.
