Work has been undertaken across Canada over the last few years to improve the care for hip and knee replacement patients.

Ontario

In 2013 work was undertaken through Health Quality Ontario to develop a Clinical Handbook which provides an evidence based approach to the management of hip and knee replacement patients. This is available at

Clinical Tools

Through the projects that have been undertaken across the country  a number of tools have been developed at a regional or provincial level that can be accessed through BJC to support implementation of best practice in hip and knee replacement.  If you have an interest in some of the tools please contact Rhona McGlasson at RhonaaMcGlasson@gmail.com.
